Northampton lock agrees deal with the Bulls

Northampton lock Juandré Kruger is set to leave the Saints at the end of the season to return to the Blue Bulls. Kruger made his name at the Bulls and Western Province before moving to Franklin's Gardens in 2008. However after a successful stint in England, where he helped Northampton to the European Challenge Cup as well as seeing the club remain in the hunt for silverware on all three fronts this season, Kruger has decided to head back to the Loftus Versfeld. "The coaching staff, the management team, the facilities and the whole culture at Loftus is every rugby player's dream and I am very excited about my second spell with the Bulls," the 24-year-old told the Bulls' official site. Kruger has also hailed the impact Saints coaches Jim Mallinder, Dorian West and Paul Grayson have had on him during his time at the club. "In Europe you play against international opposition in every match," he added. "I therefore gained a lot of experience and the Heineken Cup forced me to sharpen up my lineout play as well as my decision making and contact skills."
