European champions Toulon have signed New Zealand lock Ali Williams on a one-year deal.
Williams will replace Nick Kennedy in the squad after the former London Irish star asked to leave the French club.
Williams, 32, capped 77 times by the All Blacks, arrive at Stade Mayol between mid-September and early October after completing the super-15 season with his current club the Auckland Blues.
He becomes the seventh new face in the multi-national squad following the arrival of Martin Castrogiovanni, Bryan Habana, Drew Mitchell, Benjamin Noirot, Emmanuel Felsina and Michael Claassens.
Toulon won the European Cup for the first time last season defeating Clermont in the final, but, after leading the Top 14 for most of the year, they were upset in the championship final by Castres.
