Bath centre Gavin Henson has signed a one-year contract extension with the Aviva Premiership club.
The Wales international had been linked with a move to the Newport-Gwent Dragons but he has opted to remain at The Recreation Grounds for another season.
Henson joined Bath last summer after a spell with London Welsh and his versatility - he can play at both inside and outside centre as well as fly-half and full-back - has made him a valuable asset.
The 32-year-old has made 19 appearances for Bath this season, scoring one try.
He said: "I'm very happy to be staying. This is a top club and I feel excited about what this group of players can achieve.
"It is great to be part of it and I feel proud at the thought of playing more rugby for Bath."
Bath head coach Mike Ford said: "Gavin is a real professional. Everything he does is about being as well prepared as possible for every session and match.
"He is experienced, talented and versatile in equal measure, so we are very pleased to have him with us for another year."
