England players Josh Lewsey and Joe Worsley have both signed two-year contract extensions with Premiership champions Wasps that will keep them at the club until at least the end of the 2008 season.

World Cup winner Lewsey made his professional debut for Wasps eight years ago and is keen to remain with the country's dominant club of recent seasons.

"I wanted to be part of a team that can be potentially the most successful in English club history," said the utility back.

"Additionally, I'm at a club that plays challenging and enjoyable rugby and I believe the Heineken Cup is still within the grasp of the current Wasps squad."

Flanker Worsley (pictured) joined the club as a 16-year-old 12 years ago and added: "I'm over the moon. Wasps supported me as a kid, and helped me get to where I am today.

"I'm looking forward to continuing to repay Wasps for that support with some committed hard work."

Ireland flanker Johnny O'Connor and England full back Mark van Gisbergen have also agreed new deals with the Wycombe-based club.
