London Irish hooker David Paice has agreed a new three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2017.

The 29-year-old, who has won eight England caps and played in both Tests against Argentina last summer, has joined other key players such as Ian Humphreys and George Skivington in signing new deals with the Exiles.

"It's great to have the deal done so I can now concentrate on London Irish and the season ahead," said Paice, who joined the club's academy in 2003.

"The club has been great to me over the last 10 years and I had no hesitation in extending the deal."

London Irish director of rugby Brian Smith, said: "David has been an outstanding servant to this club over the last decade and we are delighted that he will be here for the next three seasons.

"He is one of many London Irish players that have represented England in recent times and he deserves to push on for further International honours.

"David has followed Ian Humphreys and George Skivington in signing long term deals. All three are experienced leaders in this squad and it is great to know we can build a squad around them."
