London Irish have continued their recruitment drive with the signings of three players from Leicester.

Hooker Jimmy Stevens, prop Jonny Harris and wing Alex Lewington will all arrive in the summer after spending the season on dual registration with Nottingham.

Irish have already signed Matt Parr and Nic Rouse from the Championship play-off contenders, and their latest batch of recruits have also worked with the club's forwards coach and former Nottingham boss Glenn Delaney.

Director of Rugby Brian Smith said: "Glenn has worked closely with all three and I've been impressed with what they've already achieved at Leicester and Nottingham.

"I'm sure we can develop them further and expect all three will be pushing for a place in our matchday squad. If they put their heads down, I have no doubt they can go on to higher honours."

Meanwhile, flanker Jamie Gibson has announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season.

Gibson joined the Exiles academy in 2009 and has made 69 appearances for the club, scoring two tries.

"I have really enjoyed my time at London Irish. I have played with some really great players and I will leave with some fantastic memories.

"The supporters have always been great to play in front of and I would like to thank them for all their support during my time with the club.

"I am moving on to a new challenge and I am looking forward to the next chapter in my rugby career."
