London Welsh's first ever Aviva Premiership Rugby match will be exclusively live on Sky Sports, the first of nine confirmed live games between September and November.
Sky Sports will kick off the 2012-2013 season live from Kassam Stadium where the Exiles will host seven times Premiership champions Leicester Tigers on Sunday 2 September.
London Welsh clinched the RFU Championship with a 66-41 aggregate victory over the Cornish Pirates on May 30, while Leicester Tigers finished second in the Aviva Premiership table last season.
The live schedule includes all four semi-finalists from last season including Saracens hosting Leicester Tigers at Wembley Stadium on 15 September. A world record crowd of over 83,000 watched Saracens beat Harlequins at Wembley last season, surpassing a previous record set at Twickenham during Christmas 2011.
Defending champions, Harlequins will face Saracens again at The Stoop in Round 5 on Sunday 30 September. Saracens finished third in the table last season, just two points behind Harlequins.
Then, on Saturday 27 October, Sky will broadcast Round 7 with back to back matches, Bath Rugby against Exeter Chiefs at The Rec and Gloucester Rugby against Leicester Tigers at Kingsholm.
The Aviva Premiership rugby season is part of Sky's year round rugby union coverage with domestic, European and international matches all available live on Sky Sports HD channels. Live broadcasts are supported by The Rugby Club, now in its 19th year. The weekly magazine show features in-depth previews, analysis and reaction throughout the season, with presenter Alex Payne joined in the studio by Dewi Morris, Stuart Barnes, Will Greenwood, Ieuan Evans, Scott Quinnell, Dean Ryan and Paul Wallace, along with Southern Hemisphere legends Sean Fitzpatrick and Michael Lynagh. Miles Harrison and Stuart Barnes are behind the mic for many of the big games.
Viewers can continue to benefit from live Aviva Premiership coverage through Sky Go on PCs, laptops, smartphones, tablets and games consoles. There is also 24/7 coverage on skysports.com, plus the breaking news, views and scores round the clock on Sky Sports News.
