Gloucester flanker Matt Kvesic has been banned for three weeks following his red card against London Irish at the weekend.

Kvesic pleaded guilty to a tip tackle and has been banned until May 31, meaning he will miss his side's upcoming European Champions Cup play-off against the eighth-placed Pro12 side.

Leicester's Seremaia Bai has also been suspended for three weeks after he was sent off against Wasps on Saturday.

The Fijian pleaded guilty to charging into a ruck or maul, and will miss Leicester's crucial clash with Northampton this weekend as they look to secure a play-off place.

Both offences were deemed "mid-range' by an RFU disciplinary panel sitting at the Coventry Holiday Inn on Tuesday night.
