The two Championship new-boys have been handed home ties when the new season kicks of on September 3.

London Scottish, winners of the National One title, will mark their dramatic climb up the leagues with visit of Rotherham.

Leeds Carnegie, who were relegated from the Aviva Premiership, will begin life under new coach Diccon Edwards by welcoming London Welsh to Headingley.

It is a tough start for both sides, with the Titans having been experienced campaigners in the second tier over the years, while London Welsh have been in successive play-off semi-finals.

Defeated play-off finalists Cornish Pirates are also at home, with Bristol making the short trip.

The RFU have confirmed that this season's competition will involve a two-legged semi final for the first time.

The play-offs will start on March 10, with final scheduled for May 23 and 30.
