Worcester boss Dean Ryan has added Ceri Jones and Sam Vesty to his coaching set-up at Sixways.

Jones, 36, becomes the Aviva Premiership club's scrum coach whilst Vesty, 31, will be Academy Transition Manager.

Former Wales international front row Jones, 36, joined the Warriors in 2011 having previously made over 200 appearances for Harlequins.

He is currently recovering from a serious Achilles injury which he suffered against Saracens last season.

Next generation

Vesty retired at the end of last season after a spending his playing career at Leicester and Bath, and he also won two England caps.

Ryan said: "I want Worcester to be creating and developing the next generation of talented young coaches and see that as vitally important to the future of the club.

"Both Sam and Ceri are taking their first steps into coaching and are eager to make a positive impression. They have lots of experience to pass on and I know both will work tirelessly for the Warriors."
