Newcastle Falcons have signed Samoan international winger Sinoti Sinoti from New Zealand side Wellington.

The 28-year-old, who will fly in to join his Newcastle team-mates next week, has also played for Toulon, Castres, Hawke's Bay, Aironi and Zebre

"I'm really excited to start my new rugby journey with Newcastle Falcons and I'm eager to meet the boys and get stuck in," Sinoti told the Falcons website.

"I'm looking forward to the challenge of competing in the Aviva Premiership, and I hope that I can bring something valuable to the team," he added.

Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards is delighted to get his man, saying: "Sinoti is a great signing for the club, and will bring some attacking edge to the backline as we go into a crucial run of games.

"We've been tracking his progress for some time now, and we are looking forward to welcoming him to Kingston Park within the next week.

"He comes to Newcastle with a lot of experience under his belt having played in the French Top 14, RaboDirect Pro 12 and Heineken Cup, and ultimately he is a great acquisition for the club."
