London Welsh will take on Sale, Leicester and Northampton when they make their first appearance in this season's JP Morgan Premiership Rugby Sevens Series.

The Exiles replace last season's champions Newcastle Falcons in the competition after their promotion to the top-flight was finally ratified and they will head to Edgeley Park for the Pool B action on Friday, July 20.

This season's action gets underway at the Stoop on July 13, with Harlequins, London Irish, London Wasps and Saracens fighting it out.

The Pool C games will be held at Kingsholm on Thursday July 26, with Gloucester facing Bath, Exeter and Worcester.

The final will take place on August 3 at The Rec, with the top two teams from each pool qualifying.
