Northampton Saints back-row forwards Teimana Harrison and Jonathan Fisher have signed new contracts at Franklin's Gardens.

New Zealand-born and English-qualified Harrison joined the Saints academy in 2011 and the 22-year-old openside flanker has now made 22 appearances for the club.

Fisher joined Northampton from London Irish last summer and the England Saxons cap scored on his Aviva Premiership debut against Gloucester.

The 26-year-old No 8 or flanker has made eight appearances this season.

Northampton director of rugby Jim Mallinder did not disclose the length of the new contracts for the pair but he told the Saints website: "Both players have played important roles in their time at the club and we're confident they have more to give, both during the run in and for the coming years."
