France have called up Frederic Michalak and Fulgence Ouedraogo for Saturday's Test against Tonga in Le Havre.
Toulon veteran Michalak replaces fly-half Camille Lopez in the 30-man squad, while Ouedraogo has recovered from the shoulder injury that kept him out of Saturday's 26-19 loss to New Zealand.
France coach Philippe Saint-Andre said: "Frederic Michalak replaces Camille Lopez, who has to go before the disciplinary commission on Wednesday and we can't prepare for the game with only one fly-half."
Saint-Andre added that he had "150 per cent" confidence in his squad and said he was proud of the performance of his players in the defeat to the All Blacks.
Les Bleus had New Zealand on the ropes at the Stade de France but were guilty of not cashing in on the opportunities that came their way.
"Let's keep our heads down and continue to work," said Saint-Andre. "If we go on like this there will soon be better days."
