Fly-half Camille Lopez will earn his first cap for France when they play their opening Test against New Zealand at Eden Park on Saturday.

Lopez will partner young scrum-half Maxime Machenaud for the first of their three encounters with the All Blacks.

Winger Adrien Plante is also set to make his debut in Auckland, as France stick with the bulk of the squad that finished bottom of this year's Six Nations.

Thierry Dusautoir will captain the team in place of injured lock Pascal Pape, while experienced fly-half Frederic Michalak has been dropped to the bench.

South Africa-born prop Daniel Kotze and lock Alexandre Franquart have also been named in the 23-man squad and should earn their first France caps.

Coach Philippe Saint-Andre said: "Lopez has arrived here in good shape, he has worked a lot these last four to five weeks.

"He came here really enthusiastic, fitted in with the rest of the squad really well and acclimatised to the system. He has trained really well, we had no doubts about his starting the match."

France: Yoann Huget; Adrien Plante, Florian Fritz, Wesley Fofana, Maxime Medard; Camille Lopez, Maxime Machenaud; Louis Picamoles, Fulgence Ouedraogo, Thierry Dusautoir (capt); Yoann Maestri, Sebastien Vahaamahina; Luc Ducalcon, Dimitri Szarzewski, Thomas Domingo.

Replacements: Guilhem Guirado, Vincent Debaty, Daniel Kotze, Akexandre Flanquart, Yannick Nyanga, Jean-Marc Doussain, Frederic Michalak, Maxime Mermoz.
