France captain Thierry Dusautoir is set to miss the start of the autumn international series after damaging his knee.
Dusautoir suffered the setback in Toulouse's Heineken Cup win over Treviso on Saturday - with initial assessments ruling the flanker out of action for the next six weeks.
That means Dusautoir will miss the games against Australia on November 10 and Argentina the following weekend, while he seems unlikely to face Samao on November 24.
Toulouse manager Guy Noves said: "Thierry suffered a twisted internal lateral ligament with a slight tear.
"It's an injury that necessitates between four and six weeks rest depending to his ability to properly recuperate."
