France's Maxime Medard is a doubt for Saturday's RBS Six Nations clash with England at Twickenham due to a thigh problem.
The 24-year-old was named at full-back in coach Marc Lievremont's XV but missed training on Tuesday.
A report on the L'Equipe website suggested Medard is due to undergo an MRI scan to determine the extent of the injury.
Damien Traille, who played at full-back in the Six Nations opener against Scotland, and Clement Poitrenaud, who replaced Traille at number 15 against Ireland, would be candidates to step up from the replacements' bench should Medard miss out.
Saturday's clash between the championship's only two unbeaten sides is being billed as a Grand Slam decider.
