Paul O'Connell and Stephen Ferris are the latest players to be ruled out of Ireland's international against Argentina later this month.

The pair will miss the match in Dublin on November 24th due to injury.

O'Connell has been unable to shake off a back injury while Ferris will be absent with a sore ankle.

Ireland are already without Brian O'Driscoll, Rory Best, Rob Kearney and Sean O'Brien for the game against the Pumas.

The Irish, beaten by South Africa on Saturday, could also lose Eoin Reddan.

The scrum-half will see a specialist this week after bruising an ankle, so Ulster's Paul Marshall has been drafted into the squad.
