Scotland have called up the experienced Nick De Luca and Richie Vernon into their squad for the Glasgow Sevens this weekend.
The duo, who have 61 full caps between them, supplement a familiar Scotland Sevens squad along with Colin Shaw.
Edinburgh's De Luca will win his first HSBC Sevens World Series cap since Hong Kong in 2006, while versatile Glasgow player Vernon is back on the sevens scene for the first time in five years.
Coach Stephen Gemmell said: "Bringing in two players of the international quality of Nick and Richie gives me an opportunity to help us continue to strive for improved consistency in the World Series and to look at my options for the Commonwealth Games, particularly with that team announcement approaching in May."
Scotland face Australia, United States and Spain on the first day of action at Scotstoun on Saturday.
