Tim Visser: No training camp for injured Scotland winger
Tim Visser and Duncan Taylor will take no part in Scotland's training camp in Glasgow because of injury.
Winger Visser sustained an ankle injury playing for Edinburgh and utility back Taylor suffered abdomen and shoulder damage in Saracens' clash with Northampton - he is still being treated by club medics.
There were initial reports Visser had broken his ankle, but he tweeted on Sunday that there was 'no news' and he will have an MRI scan later on Monday to determine the severity of the problem.
Scotland are getting together ahead of their EMC Autumn Test matches with Japan, South Africa and Australia next month, with coach Scott Johnson having selected a 41-man squad to take part.
Of those who made it to Glasgow, back-row Blair Cowan and hooker Scott Lawson were also spared contact training as they were in action on Sunday for London Irish and Newcastle respectively.
The Scottish Rugby website also said a number of players were being limited in training to deal with 'bumps and bruises'.
