Stuart Lancaster wants his side England side to cut out the penalties in the second Test against Argentina on Saturday.

England thumped the Pumas 32-3 at the weekend but spent much of the second-half on the back foot after conceding a total of 15 penalties and having Courtney Lawes sin-binned.

Lancaster has analysed the game on DVD with referee Chris Pollock and admits England must work on their discipline.

"One of the main areas for us is discipline in and around the breakdown and to make sure we don't concede 15 penalties next week because on another day a kicker would have kicked those and the context of the game would have been different," he said.

"I had a good chat with him (Pollock) and he has given us his thoughts.

"The point I am making to the players is that part of being an international player is adapting to a referee's interpretation and learning quickly in the game the way he views a particular area.

"Clearly we were getting penalised at the breakdown so we needed to not be as aggressive in trying to turn it over but try and fire through the breakdown which is a safer way but has the same effect.

"But there were lots of positives. Our intent to attack and the speed we played at was really challenging for the Pumas."
