England Under-20s have made four changes to the side for their clash with Ireland in Athlone on Friday.

England, who opened up their campaign with a 15-6 victory over Scotland, have handed starts to Mark Jennings, Henry Purdy, Danny Hobbs-Awoyemi and Scott Wilson.

Head coach Rob Hunter has made two further positional changes, with Ben Howard switching to full-back and Luke Cowan-Dickie taking over at hooker.

Captain Jack Clifford said: "We're a new group and learnt a lot from the game against Scotland.

"Focus is now on Ireland and we know that they'll be up for it, but we'll just focus on our processes and if we play to our potential then we know that we're a good side."
