Saracens are bracing themselves for an approach from the RFU to recruit Andy Farrell to the England staff.
Sarries head coach Farrell was loaned to England to work under interim coach Stuart Lancaster during the RBS Six Nations.
The combination of Lancaster, Farrell and Graham Rowntree was a huge success, England unexpectedly finishing second in the tournament with four wins out of five.
Lancaster, appointed as England coach on a full-time basis on Thursday, is known to want Rowntree and Farrell as his permanent coaching assistants.
Rowntree is understood to be close to landing a long-term deal but Sarries insist they will not welcome an approach for Farrell.
Saracens chief executive Edward Griffiths said: "The RFU asked if they could loan Andy Farrell for the Six Nations, which we did in the national interest.
"They made it very clear that it was just for the Six Nations. He is contracted to us for another two years and he is a massive part of what we're planning here as a club, and that's really the situation.
"We will doubtless talk to the RFU shortly and hear what they have got to say but from a Saracens perspective Andy is a big part of our club and a big part of our future."
