Dan Carter: Set to return to New Zealand XV against Argentina this weekend
New Zealand superstar Dan Carter is set to return to the starting XV for this weekend's Rugby Championship Test against Argentina.
Carter was forced to sit out the last two matches because of a calf injury but the fly-half came through training on Monday and coach Steve Hansen is confident he will be available for the match at Estadio Unico Ciudad de La Plata.
"He is that way at this stage," said Hansen. "We'll have to wait and see how we go on the training track.
"But DC's come through the week reasonably good and he sounds confident, as long as he doesn't get any setbacks we should be fine."
If he is passed fit Carter will replace Waikato star Aaron Cruden in the starting line-up for a match which is hugely anticipated in Argentina.
All 42,000 tickets have been sold and hundreds of locals turned to watch the All Blacks take a training session at a local school in La Plata.
