Jeffery Toomaga-Allen, Reggie Goodes and Ardie Savea have all been handed new two-year contracts by the Hurricanes.

Prop Toomaga-Allen has made 41 appearances for the Wellington-based franchise, while 22-year-old hooker Goodes has gone on to be a key figure in the pack since his debut in 2012.

Back-rower Savea, the younger brother of All Blacks winger Julian, has gone on to represent New Zealand at the IRB Junior World Championship.

Toomaga-Allen, 23, said: "I'm stoked to be staying because I'm really happy with what we've built so far within the team.

"I also grew up wanting to be a Hurricane, and that dream has come true. So really, I'm just thankful for the opportunity and blessed to be part of this team for another couple of years."

Goodes added: "I'm proud to be a Hurricane. I love playing alongside my mates, and love coming to work every day with a great bunch of guys.”

The 20-year-old Savea is delighted to be remaining at the club alongside his brother.

"It was an obvious decision for me to stay here in Wellington, alongside Jules, and as part of a team I have a lot of respect for," said Savea.

"Having missed the ITM Cup with my shoulder, I'm even more excited to get back out there and get stuck into some training with the boys."
