Highly-rated centre Jan Serfontein has committed his long-term future to the Bulls.

The 19-year-old was named the player of the tournament at the IRB Junior World Championship in 2012.

And Serfontein had no hesitation in agreeing to remain at Loftus Versfeld for the "foreseeable future".

"Home is where the heart is and I am very happy in Pretoria," he said.

"The Bulls rugby family is indeed a special one and their work ethic commendable, something I want to be part of for the next couple of years."
