The future of New Zealand centre Sonny Bill Williams will become clearer on Monday - with the cross-code convert set to be unveiled as the marquee signing at Japanese club Panasonic.
Williams is believed to have agreed a 10-match deal to play in the Top League, with his current deal at the Chiefs set to expire at the end of the season.
The move is expected to be officially announced on Monday, with Panasonic holding a press conference for Monday.
Williams has won 17 caps for the All Blacks and helped them to the World Cup crown, however he is unlikely to make an immediate return to New Zealand rugby at the end of his short stint in Japan.
Williams is instead likely to accept a deal to play in the NRL for the Sydney Roosters, who have been long-time admirers of the 26-year-old.
The Roosters have offered Williams a season-long deal, with the contract also allowing the New Zealand heavyweight champion to continue his boxing career.
