Ryan Jones has withdrawn from the Wales squad ahead of the Six Nations because of a hamstring injury.
Jones suffered the injury in the Ospreys' Heineken Cup defeat to Leinster on Friday night. It is not yet clear if the British & Irish Lions star will miss the whole tournament - some reports suggest he has only been ruled out of Wales' first two matches.
He has been replaced in the squad by his club team-mate James King.
A Welsh Rugby Union statement read: "Wales have released Ospreys back-row Ryan Jones back to his region due to injury.
"Jones met up with the squad this morning as they began preparations for the forthcoming Six Nations and has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
"Jones' regional team-mate James King, who made his debut for Wales last summer in Japan, has been called into the squad."
Newport Gwent Dragons hooker Sam Parry and Scarlets second-row Jake Ball will join the Wales training squad on Tuesday.
