Remi Tales will get another chance to shine for France after being included in their side to face New Zealand in Paris on Saturday evening.

Tales, who has only two international caps, will form part of a new half-back pairing with Morgan Parra.

He is preferred to Jean-Marc Doussain, who drops to the bench, but otherwise there are few surprises with Biarritz flanker Wenceslas Lauret and Castres prop Yannick Forestier returning after missing their summer tour through injury.

Parra was saved from missing the game when his four-week suspension for punching an opponent in a Top 14 match was reduced to a fortnight.

"I picked Morgan for his experience and his kicking skills," coach Philippe Saint-Andre.

Focus

"We will have to be intelligent and focused defensively.

"It is important that the players believe in themselves, that they play with passion and intelligence, but most of all they must release the handbrake.

"There is obviously some fear when you face New Zealand. We should build on that fear, it must not annihilate us. We will need to run and be creative."

Otherwise there were few surprises with Saint-Andre opting for continuity with Biarritz flanker Wenceslas Lauret and Castres prop Yannick Forestier both returning after missing the June tour.
