Leigh Halfpenny: kicked all of Wales' points in the loss to Australia at the Millennium Stadium.
Wales full-back Leigh Halfpenny has been discharged from hospital after undergoing scans on the neck injury he suffered against Australia on Saturday.
The Cardiff Blue was taken off in the final moments of the 14-12 defeat at the hands of the Wallabies, a game in which he accounted for all of the home side's points at the Millennium Stadium.
He was immediately admitted to University Hospital Wales to exclude any serious neck injury, a process which thankfully has now been concluded.
"I want to say thank you to all of the medical teams who have looked after me following my injury yesterday," said Halfpenny.
"The paramedics, WRU and Millennium Stadium medical teams were outstanding. All of the staff at University Hospital Wales were also amazing.
"Everyone has been so supportive and the care that I have had has been incredibly professional and second to none. I'd also like to thank all of those who have been sending me messages of support following the injury."
Halfpenny, whose four penalties weren't enough to stop Wales slipping to a seventh straight Test defeat, will now undergo a period of treatment; it is not yet known when he will be fit to return to action.
