Northampton lock Courtney Lawes has insisted he is ready to face Scotland in the Sunday's RBS Six Nations clash if required.
The 22-year-old had missed the wins over Wales, Italy and France after two months out with a knee injury.
However Lawes proved he is back to full fitness after he managed his first full 80 minutes in the Aviva Premiership defeat to Exeter.
And Lawes has set his sights on playing some part in the clash - particularly as Simon Shaw is struggling with a groin injury.
"If he (Martin Johnson) wants me, I'm ready," he told The Times.
"There's no doubts, the knee is sweet. I thought I had a pretty good game (against Exeter), carried okay.
"I do feel like I am back up to speed. I am a bit tired, but I feel good."
