Centre Sam Tuitupou and prop Eifion Lewis-Roberts have agreed new two-year contracts with Sale Sharks.

Tuitupou, 32, who has won nine caps for New Zealand, joined Sale from Munster in 2011 while Lewis-Roberts has been with the Sharks since 2005, apart from one season spent with French club Toulon.

The 33-year-old was capped by Wales against Canada in 2008.

Sale rugby director Steve Diamond said: "We are delighted that both Eifion and Sammy have agreed their new two-year deals.

"They are both great lads and key members of our squad, and we are delighted they are staying on."

The pair follow Josh Beaumont, Mike Haley and Tommy Taylor in agreeing new deals with the club.

The Sharks, who lie eighth in the Aviva Premiership table, face London Welsh next on February 15.
