James Gaskell and Rob Miller are to move from Sale Sharks to London Wasps at the end of the season.

Gaskell, a lock who can also play in the back row, became the youngest captain in Sale's history when he was appointed in the summer of 2010.

The 23-year-old, who has scored 14 tries in 112 games for the Sharks, has represented England at U18 and U20 level and has also captained England Saxons.

Full-back Miller, 24, has scored 232 points in 94 games for Sale and has represented England at U16, U18 and U20 levels.

He has recently played for England Saxons in their games against Irish Wolfhounds and Scotland A.

Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said: "We are delighted to bring James and Rob to Wasps.

"They are both young, ambitious players and, from talking to them, I am sure that they will fit in well with what we are trying to do here at Wasps.

"Both players have a great amount of potential and I look forward to them both continuing to develop and improve in black and gold."
