Jon Clarke: Already at Carnegie
Worcester forward Harry Casson has joined Championship side Leeds Carnegie on loan for the rest of the season.
The 22-year-old second-row has struggled to break into the first team with the Warriors and has previously been sent on loan to Coventry and Cinderford.
Casson, who made one senior appearance for Gloucester before going to university, has been signed by Leeds as cover for the injured Calum Green.
He could be thrown straight into action in Saturday's clash with Plymouth, and he is relishing the chance to play regular first-team rugby as well as linking up with former Warriors team-mate Jon Clarke.
"I am very much looking forward to joining up with Leeds Carnegie," Casson said. "It is a very competitive squad and I am hungry to get out there and play some rugby.
"Leeds play a style of rugby that I think suits my strengths and they have been getting some great results.
"The Greene King IPA Championship is a very competitive league and I am looking forward to testing myself in that environment.
"Obviously it helps that Jon Clarke has also just made the move up from Worcester, I would have been happy to come up on my own, but having an experienced player to turn to, who I already know, will hopefully mean I can settle in easier."
Leeds director of rugby Chris Gibson added, "Harry is someone who comes to us highly recommended by a number of people in the game.
"We have picked up a couple of injuries in the last few games and it was important that we strengthened the squad with the right calibre of people."
