Worcester back row Richard De Carpentier has been charged following an incident involving Northampton flanker Calum Clark.

The 23-year-old faces an allegation of making contact with the eyes/eye area of Clark during the Saints' 33-10 victory at Sixways on Saturday.

De Carpentier, a former England Sevens player, will learn his fate at a hearing at the Holiday Inn in Coventry on Wednesday.

Clark himself is no stranger to controversy having been banned for 32 weeks for breaking the arm of Leicester hooker Rob Hawkins in the 2012 LV Cup final.
