Sky Sports is giving you the chance to put your questions directly members of Warren Gatland's squad, via Twitter, as they prepare for the Test series against Australia that gets underway on Saturday.
First to be put on the spot was Ireland captain Jamie Heaslip.
The No 8 gives his views on what it takes to become a professional rugby player, what it felt like when he was first called up to the squad and which Lion he would trust to save his life!
Here is the best of what the 29-year-old had to say when he sat down with Sky Sports to answer your questions:
Terry @Teztheterrible: can you describe your emotions at getting the initial call up, first meet, first training & first match in red?
@jamieheaslip: Pride, relief ,excitement. Humbling to be part of such a special group of players and history.
Adam Hanlon @AdamRHanlon: Jamie, I would really appreciate it if you had any advice on becoming a professional rugby player. Thanks. #AskALion
@jamieheaslip: Two things on this... 1. Talent is nothing without discipline & 2. There's no substitute for hard work.
David Mildenhall @DaveMildenhall: Does the choice of either Philips or Youngs at 9 change the way you think during the game?
@jamieheaslip: Both players have a different way of playing so u have to adapt to their styles.
Marty Ryan @martyryan83: Jamie who is the surprise package of the lions tour so far? #onetowatch
@jamieheaslip: Matt Stevens & Sean Maitland with their singing and beat box skills.
Dave Pugh @davepughy1: If Jamie had to get a life-saving injection, which of all lions would he trust most to inject him. (Excl roberts)
@jamieheaslip: Would have been Cian but he's gone home now. I'd go with Johnny Sexton, calm under pressure.
JMC @JMCunningham123: Which fellow Lion has impressed you the most on the pitch. Who is the best craic off the pitch? #AskALion
@jamieheaslip: Mako's really impressed me, with Manu. Such big men but great footwork & handling skills. Ian Evans the comedian off the pitch.
Wendy Ní Bheirn✨ @wendymbyrne: What has been your best and worst moments of the tour so far either on or off the field? #AskALion
@Jamieheaslip Best was being on pitch with 1 of my best mates Cian Healy when he became a Lion. Worst was seeing his tour over after injury.
Ceri_Brown @Ceri_Brown: Who on the lions camp has the loudest rawr?
@jamieheaslip: Skipper definitely has the loudest roar. Just before we take to the pitch, in our huddle he lets u hear it.
simon edwards @5imon_e: is there an official welcome for new members to the squad or is it more of a gradual thing on the training ground
@jamieheaslip: Compulsory song or rap when they step on the team bus.
Shauna Hanlon @Shauna_TVDx: who is the best and the worst roommate your had so far? :) #AskALion
@jamieheaslip: So far I've been with Mako, Ian, Hoggy & Toby. Hoggy was a ball of energy but Mako definitely was a serious snorer!
philip crowley @phillycrowley: is it difficult playing with new players in a different system at such a high level?
@jamieheaslip: Not difficult at all, everyone is so professional things get picked up fast. Standard seriously high at training.
juliet smyth @juliet_1310: who do you think are the funniest players on the tour? #AskALion
@jamieheaslip: Matt Stevens and Ian Evans definitely are.
Ben sullivan @Bensullivan10: What is the best match you have ever played in? #AskALion
@jamieheaslip: Winning the last test match with the lions in 2009.
Keiran Barriball @KeiranKB6: What is the most intimidating stadium to play away at? Also whos the most physical opponent you've played against? #AskALion
@jamieheaslip: Thierry Dusautoir is definitely the hardest player I've come up against. He is literally like a rock.
Gareth Williams @Gaz_williams85: which current lion squad member would you pick as your tag team partner in a wrestling match? #AskALion
@jamieheaslip: Well I'd actually go for one of our S&C guys. "Bobby" would be my tag team mate.
sharpz @bigsharpzz: What do you do when you're not playing rugby #AskALion
@jamieheaslip: Walk my dog JayZ, study, check out my restaurant Bear, float around Dublin city.
We'll be back same time next week with another Lion set to answer your questions, be sure to join us!
