Winger Kristian Phillips has signed a one-year deal to return to the Ospreys after spending the last three seasons with local rivals Scarlets.
Phillips, 24, came through the Ospreys academy and became their youngest-ever player when he turned out against Connacht in 2008 at the age of 17 years and 250 days, a record he still holds.
He scored four tries in 20 games for them before joining the Scarlets ahead of the 2012-13 campaign, where he made a further 54 appearances and scored seven times.
Phillips said: “It’s great to be back. I know the place but it’s a different environment to what it was when I was here last, in terms of the culture and everything.
“This is my home region and it’s where I learnt my trade as a youngster coming through, so I’m obviously really pleased to get the opportunity to re-sign for the Ospreys.
"I feel that I’ve improved as a player while I’ve been away and I’m looking forward to continuing my development this season and, hopefully, challenging for a place in the matchday 23 week in, week out.
“It’s up to me now to put the work in if I want to achieve my goal of playing for the Ospreys regularly.”
