Exeter hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie has been ruled out of the rest of England’s tour of New Zealand because of a knee injury.

Cowan-Dickie will return home to have the knee examined after he jarred the joint during training.

England head coach Stuart Lancaster said: "It's unfortunate for Luke. He has been great over the last three weeks and I am sure he will have benefited from being involved in this environment."

Cowan-Dickie was not in contention to play in the Test series against the All Blacks, but could have featured in the midweek game against the Crusaders.
