Wales lock Luke Charteris has joined the Welsh contingent at Racing Metro.

The former Newport Gwent Dragons star will team up with Wales team-mates Jamie Roberts, Dan Lydiate and Mike Phillips.

He joins the Paris club from Perpignan, who were relegated from the Top 14 along with Biarritz.

Racing, who were beaten in the play-off semi-finals by the eventual champions Toulon, have also snapped up centre Casey Laulala from Munster, the hugely exciting France full-back Brice Dulin, Cheetahs pair Johan Gossen and Antonie Claassen, prop Anton Peikrishvili and Biarritz wing Teddy Thomas.
