Back-row forward Beattie injured his ankle in the agonising 19-17 defeat by France on Sunday and winger Lamont damaged ligaments in his right knee.
Team doctor James Robson said: "Both players were scanned at SPIRE Murrayfield hospital last night and will be subject to further review on Monday by consultant orthopaedic surgeon Graham Lawson. However, they are unavailable for selection this weekend."
"In addition prop Ryan Grant has a hip/abdomen injury which will require further assessment. He will undergo MRI imaging at SPIRE Murrayfield on Monday."
Meanwhile lock Tim Swinson has pleased his innocence over the late penalty that handed France the chance of victory at Murrayfield.
He was penalised for failing to release substitute Alexandre Flanquart and Jean-Marc Doussain slotted over the penalty with only 90 seconds remaining.
Swinson said: "It is tough to go into the last few minutes of a game and lose it that way.
"Personally I don't think I was near the ball. But then at the same time the referee is the guy there making the decisions and you have got to respect that. That's the way it is.
"That doesn't mean it's not disappointing. I'm gutted by the way it happened. However, one of the values of our sport is respect for the referee so we just have to accept it."
