Ireland have confirmed Dan Tuohy suffered a fractured arm during Saturday's Six Nations victory over Wales.
The forward was injured eight minutes after coming off the bench in the second half of Ireland's 26-3 win.
No date has been set for Tuohy's return, but the severity of the damage means he is likely to miss the remainder of Ireland's Grand Slam challenge.
A post on the Irish Rugby Football Union's official Twitter feed also made mention of "a few other bumps and bruises" in the wake of the Aviva Stadium game.
Ireland's next game is at Twickenham on Febuary 22.
