Harlequins have made three changes to their starting XV that lost to Exeter last weekend for Friday's LV= Cup clash with Sale Sharks at the Stoop.

Darryl Marfo and Tom Williams are named, with 18 year-old number eight James Chisholm making his senior starting debut for the club.

Williams starts at full-back with Charlie Walker moving to the right wing. Centres Tom Casson and Tim Molenaar switch as the half-back partnership remains unchanged.

In the forwards, Marfo makes his first start of the season, joining Mark Lambert and Dave Ward in the front row.The final change to the forward pack sees Chisholm joining Joe Trayfoot and captain Luke Wallace in the back row.

Meanwhile, James Gaskell returns at flanker for the first time for Sale since breaking a bone in his foot in a warm-up match against Wasps.

Will Addison starts for the first time this season after an ankle operation and new signing Viliami Fihaki is named amongst the replacements.

The Ospreys have named Matthew Morgan at fly-half in place of fellow youngster Sam Davies for their LV= Cup clash with Cardiff Blues.

The change at 10 is one of many made by head coach Steve Tandy, with Morgan lining up alongside Italian scrum-half Tito Tebaldi.

Impress

Joe Bearman comes in at number eight while Jamie Murphy, Aisea Natoga, Jonathan Spratt, Dafydd Howells and Dan Suter also make the XV.

Cardiff Blues meanwhile will be looking to bounce back from their 21-16 loss to Worcester.

Fly-half Simon Humberstone makes his first ever start for the region after impressing off the bench last week and joins forces with Alex Walker at half-back. Centre Gavin Evans starts.

Prop Sam Hobbs is called up at loosehead while flanker Ellis Jenkins and number eight Robin Copeland are also named in the forward pack for the game at Liberty Stadium.

Cardiff Blues are currently without 20 players for the game, such as Josh Navidi, Andries Pretorius, Marc Breeze, Ben Roach, Harry Robinson, Rhys Patchell, Gareth Davies.

Leicester Tigers are also reeling from the international calender and they go into Friday's clash with Worcester without a host of stars.

Five Leicester players are with England this weekend, and Marcos Ayerza and Pablo Matera are with Argentina.

Tigers are without Anthony Allen, Gonzalo Camacho, Tom Croft, Vereniki Goneva, Rob Hawkins, Terrence Hepetema, Ryan Lamb, Logovi'i Mulipola, Scott Steele, Mathew Tait and Manu Tuilagi due to injury.

Matt Smith returns to make his first starting appearance of the season however Sam Harrison is ruled out after taking a knock in the win over the Ospreys last Friday and his place at scrum-half is taken by David Mélé, while Jordan Crane returns at number eight.

Released

Miles Benjamin faces his former club, and Henry Purdy, an England Under-20s international, comes in on the other wing with Blaine Scully on international duty with the USA.

French prop Jérôme Schuster is brought into the matchday squad for the first time since a switch from Perpignan.

James Percival will play his first match for over half a year for Worcester after undergoing a bicep operation.

Andy Symons, who signed for the club last week, will make his full Warriors debut after coming off the bench during last Friday's victory over Cardiff Blues.

Mariano Galarza comes back into the side after being released by Argentina, while Leonardo Senatore moves in the other direction.

Ravai Fatiaki returns following a spell on the treatment table, while Paul Warwick and Jonny Arr are named as the half-back combination.

Chris Brooker will start at hooker as Warriors search for a second consecutive win against their Premiership opponents.
