England will again be without Saracens prop Mako Vunipola for Saturday's QBE international against New Zealand due to a knee injury.

The Saracens man missed the 31-12 defeat of Argentina on Saturday after straining a cruciate ligament and will not have recovered in time to line up against the All Blacks at Twickenham.

However, Joe Marler, who replaced him for the match against the Pumas, could be available, despite having suffered a concussion at the weekend.

Head coach Stuart Lancaster said: "Mako won't be playing. Joe's going through the mandatory recovery for concussion but we're hoping he'll be OK."

Alex Corbisiero, who replaced Marler at half-time on Saturday, is now set to start against New Zealand, with Marler providing cover from the bench if he is cleared to take part.

Wade rated doubtful

Scrum-half Ben Youngs has been given the green light after suffering a hip complaint and Lancaster is optimistic that wing Marland Yarde will be able to shrug off a hip injury of his own.

However, Christian Wade has a tight hamstring and the head coach says the Wasps wing is "unlikely" to have recovered by Saturday.

Lancaster and his Kiwi counterpart Steve Hansen will name their teams on Thursday for Saturday's Test, in which the mighty All Blacks will be looking for their 13th win from 13 matches in 2013.

However, England beat New Zealand 38-21 at Twickenham last autumn, their seventh win over the All Blacks in 35 attempts.
