Esteban Lozada: Capped lock adds depth to the second row
London Wasps have added Argentina international lock Esteban Lozada to their squad ahead of the new season.
The 31-year-old immediately joined up with his new team-mates at their pre-season camp in France following his move from Top 14 side Agen.
Lozada, who has previously played for Toulon and Edinburgh, has been capped 22 times by his country.
London Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said: "It was important for us to add another lock to the mix ahead of the season.
"Now I think we have a very strong group of players there who are all going to push each other hard for selection.
"Esteban is bringing solid international experience with him and we look forward to see what he can bring us."
Commenting on the training camp in France, which will culminate with a match against Clermont Auvergne on Friday, Young added: "This week will be very much a continuation of what we have been doing in Acton all summer.
"There will be a high fitness element but obviously we're going to be building towards a game at the end of the week.
"We will be putting a lot of things in place leading into the game which we haven't done much up until now in terms of contact and so on.
"I won't be giving anyone 80 minutes on Friday if I can help it. It's probably a little bit soon and I think 60 minutes is the most anyone will play."
