Graham Henry: Said the TMO must have been 'blind'
Former All Blacks coach Graham Henry has received a misconduct charge after blasting officials during the Auckland Blues' loss to the Canterbury Crusaders.
Henry criticised the match officials at press conference on TV NZ News and his comments were subsequently widely reported through other media outlets and online.
The Blues suffered a 23-3 loss and the former All Blacks coach said the TMO must have been "blind" as he did not award a try to Blues wing Frank Halai.
Henry also slammed the match officials for failing to penalise Crusaders prop Wyatt Crockett for infringements in the scrums.
SANZAR said it had brought the complaint against Henry, who stepped down as All Blacks coach after winning the 2011 World Cup, for breaching its code of conduct.
The hearing is to be held on Sunday.
