London Irish have bolstered their pack for next season with the signings of Matt Parr and Nic Rouse from Nottingham on two-year deals.

Loosehead prop Parr and lock Rouse will be reunited with Glenn Delaney, who was director of rugby at Nottingham before becoming forwards coach at Irish.

Parr, 29, has previously played in the Premiership with Leicester, Sale and Saracens, while Rouse previously had a stint on loan at the Exiles in 2008 and a 12-month spell at the Sharks.

London Irish director of rugby Brian Smith said: "We are delighted to have these two players on board for the next few seasons.

"Matt will bring massive strength, work rate and experience in a key position which will be crucial for us going forward.

"Nic also has a great work rate and is a very physical player.

"Glenn Delaney has worked with both Nic and Matt and is very happy that both will be joining us next season."
