Tom Arscott: Leaving London Welsh for Sale next season

Sky Bet

Sale Sharks have confirmed the signing of London Welsh back Tom Arscott for the 2013/14 season.

Arscott, who can play on the wing and at full-back, only joined the Exiles at the start of the season and he has been among their more regular starters.

The 25-year-old, who has scored four tries, has also represented hometown club Plymouth, Bristol and Worcester, and his brother Luke also plies his trade in the Aviva Premiership with the Exeter Chiefs.

Sale director of rugby Steve Diamond said: "Tom is an exciting player who can play full-back and wing. He has been a regular for London Welsh this season having played 23 times and scored four tries.

"He played in both the games against us this season and I was very impressed with him and am sure he will be a great asset to us."
