Cardiff Blues have confirmed winger Alex Cuthbert will be out of action for at least four weeks with a hamstring injury.

Cuthbert starred for Wales on Saturday as they secured the Six Nations Championship with a resounding victory over England.

The 22-year-old scored two tries in the 30-3 victory at the Millennium Stadium despite sustaining a grade two hamstring strain in the first half-hour of the match.

Cuthbert is unlikely to be back in action for the Blues until early May.

"Alex suffered a grade two hamstring strain in the first 30 minutes of the

match against England," read a statement released by the Blues.

"He is expected to be out for between four to six weeks,"
