George Smith: Will join on loan from Suntory Sungoliath
The Brumbies have bolstered their pack with the signing of former Australia flanker George Smith on a short-term deal.
The 32-year-old made 128 appearances for the Brumbies before leaving in 2010 to play in France with Toulon.
Smith, who won 110 caps for the Wallabies, then moved to Japanese club Suntory Sungoliath - but he returned to the Top 14 with Stade Francais on loan last season.

And having helped guide Suntory to a second straight league title, Smith has now been granted permission to rejoin to the Brumbies on a 12-week deal as cover for the injured Ita Vaea.
Head coach Jake White told the club's official site: "It's exciting news for the club that we have been able to bring George back to Canberra.
"He's achieved a great deal in the game and was an important part of the team for many years, so naturally everyone at the Brumbies will be pleased to have him back.
"George's record and ability to win games is outstanding. The guy has won Super Rugby Championships, he's won big games for the Wallabies and he's played in a Rugby World Cup final so I want him to bring that winning culture back here to the Brumbies."
