Niall Morris has agreed a new contract with Aviva Premiership club Leicester Tigers.

The versatile 24-year-old has enjoyed some excellent performances since joining the club from Leinster in the summer of 2011.

He has notched seven tries in 26 appearances for the team and is the latest young player to commit his immediate future to the Tigers.

Morris can play as a winger and full-back, although the club have not revealed the length of contract agreed.

The club's director of rugby Richard Cockerill told the club's official site: "Niall made a big decision to leave Ireland and come to Leicester last summer and he has been a very important member of the squad here for the last two seasons.

"He has been improving the whole time with us. He is a good young player who is developing really well and doing a good job for us."

Morris added: "I'm happy to agree a contract extension.

"I think I've improved a lot as a player with the Tigers and that is something I want to continue to do."
